জনপদ গুলোর গুরুত্ব:

  চতুর্থ শতক থেকে গুপ্ত যুগ, গুপ্ত পরবর্তী যুগ, পাল, সেন আমলের শিলালিপি ও বিভিন্ন । গ্রন্থে প্রাচীন বাংলার বিভিন্ন জনপদের নাম পাওয়া গেছে।

পুন্ড্র

পৌন্দ্রিক শব্দ থেকে পুনামের উৎপত্তি। এর অর্থ- আখ বা চিনি। বাংলাদেশের সর্বপ্রাচীন জনপদ হলো পুণ্ডা বগুড়া, রাজশাহী, রংপুর ও দিনাজপুর জেলার অবস্থানভূমিকে কেন্দ্র করে গড়ে উঠে পুণ্ড্র জনপদ। 

প্রাচীন পুণ্ড রাজ্যের রাজধানী ছিল পুণ্ড্রবর্ধন বা পুণ্ড্রনগর। সম্রাট অশোকের রাজত্বকালে প্রাচীন পুন্ড্র রাজ্যের স্বাধীনতা বিলুপ্ত হয়।

বর্তমান অবস্থান বগুড়া জেলার মহাস্থানগড়। বৈদিক সাহিত্য ও মহাভারতে এ জাতির উল্লেখ আছে। পাল রাজারা উত্তরবঙ্গকে তাদের পিতৃভূমি মনে করত। 

সেজন্য এর নামকরণ করেছিল বারিন্দ্রী। এই বারিন্দ্রী থেকে বরেন্দ্র শব্দের উৎপত্তি। বর্তমান করতোয়া নদীর পশ্চিম তীরের লালমাটি সমৃদ্ধ অঞ্চলই বরেন্দ্রভূমি নামে পরিচিত। 

গঙ্গা ও করতোয়া নদীর পশ্চিমাংশের মধ্যবর্তী। অংশকে রামায়ণে বারিন্দ্রীমণ্ডল বলে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে।

গৌড়

প্রাচীন বাংলার জনপদ গুলোকে শশাঙ্ক গৌড় নামে একত্রিত করেন। পাণিনির গ্রন্থে। সর্বপ্রথম গৌড়ের উল্লেখ পাওয়া যায়। 

কৌটিল্যের অর্থশাস্ত্র' গ্রন্থে এ জনপদের শিল্প ও কৃষিজাত দ্রব্যের উল্লেখ পাওয়া যায়। হর্ষবর্ধনের শিলালিপি হতে প্রমাণিত হয় যে, সমুদ্র উপকূল হতে গৌড় দেশ খুব বেশি দূরে ছিল না।

পরিবারের একজন সদস্যের পালস রেট অবস্থায় পরিমাপ করে পাঠসমূহের ব্যাখ্যা প্রদান।

নির্দেশনা ও সংকেতঃ

১. পালস রেট বা নাড়িস্পন্দন পরিমাপের পদ্ধতি যথাযথভাবে অনুসরণ কর (জীববিজ্ঞান পাঠ্যপুস্তকের পৃষ্ঠা ১৫০-১৫১ দ্রষ্টব্য)।

২. প্রথমে খাতায় নিচের মতাে ছক আঁকতে হবে :

৩. পরিবারের একজন সুস্থ্য সদস্যকে তােমার পরীক্ষণে অংশ নিতে অনুরােধ করবে। তােমার নির্দেশনা বুঝতে সক্ষম এমন ব্যক্তি হতে হবে। তাঁকে পুরাে বিষয়টি বুঝিয়ে বলার পর তিনি সম্মতি দিলে পরীক্ষণ শুরু করা যাবে।

৪. সাবধানতা: অনুমতি ছাড়া কারাে উপর পরীক্ষণ করা যাবে না। নিজের উপর পরীক্ষণ করা যাবে না।

৫. পরীক্ষণাধীন ব্যক্তিকে পরীক্ষণের পূর্বে ৬ ঘন্টা চা-কফি বা ধূমপান থেকে বিরত থাকতে হবে। তাঁকে পরীক্ষণের সময় শান্ত ও শিথিল (relaxed) থাকতে হবে। তাই সকালে ঘুম থেকে ওঠার পরপর পরীক্ষণটি করার আদর্শ সময়।

৬. উপরের ছক অনুসারে প্রথমে শােয়া অবস্থায় পালস রেট নির্ণয় করে ছকে পাঠ লিখতে হবে। তারপর যথাক্রমে বসা ও দাঁড়ানাে অবস্থায় পাঠ নিতে হবে এবং ছকে লিখতে হবে।

৭. সবশেষে পাঁচ মিনিট দ্রুতবেগে হীটার পরে দাঁড়ানাে অবস্থায় পালস রেট নির্ণয় করে ছকে পাঠ লিখতে হবে। উল্লিখিত ছক ব্যবহার করে লেখচিত্র আঁকতে হবে। উদাহরণ: শােয়া, বসা, দাঁড়ানাে এবং হাঁটার পরে প্রতি মিনিটে পালস রেট যদি যথাক্রমে ৭০, ৭৫, ৮৫ এবং ১০০ হয় তাহলে তার লেখচিত্রটি উপরে প্রশ্নে দেওয়া আছে;

৮. বিভিন্ন অবস্থায় পালস রেটের পার্থক্য কেন হয় তা ব্যাখ্যা করতে হবে। | [সর্বনিম্ন ৩০ থেকে সর্বোচ্চ ৫০ শব্দে]

উত্তর সমূহ:

পরিবারের একজন সদস্যের (আমার বাবার) পালস রেট অবস্থায় পরিমাপ

রক্ত চলাচলের সময় ধমনির গায়ে যে চাপ তৈরি হয়, তাকে  রক্তচাপ  বলে। হৃৎপিণ্ডের সংকোচন বা সিস্টোল অবস্থায় ধমনির গায়ে রক্তচাপের মাত্রা সবচেয়ে বেশি থাকে। একে সিস্টোলিক চাপ (Systolic Pressure) বলে। হৃৎপিণ্ডের (প্রকৃতপক্ষে নিলয়ের) প্রসারণ বা ডাইয়াস্টোল অবস্থায় রক্তচাপ সবচেয়ে কম থাকে। একে ডায়াস্টোলিক চাপ (Diastolic Pressure) বলে।

চিকিৎসকদের মতে, পরিণত বয়সে একজন মানুষের আদর্শ রক্তচাপ (Blood pressure) সাধারণত ১২০/৮০ মিলিমিটার মানের কাছাকাছি। রক্তচাপকে দুটি সংখ্যায় উল্লেখ করা হয়।

প্রথমটি উচ্চমান এবং দ্বিতীয়টি নিম্নমান। রক্তের উচ্চ চাপকে সিস্টোলিক (Systolic) চাপ বলে যার আদর্শ মান ১২০ মিলিমিটারের নিচে। নিম্নচাপকে ডায়াস্টোলিক (Diastolic) চাপ বলে। এই চাপটির আদর্শ মান ৮০ মিলিমিটারের নিচে।

এই চাপটি হৃৎপিণ্ডের দুটি বিটের মাঝামাঝি সময় রক্তনালিতে সৃষ্টি হয়। দুধরনের রক্তচাপের পার্থক্যকে ধমনিঘাত বা নাড়িঘাত চাপ (Pulse pressure) বলা হয়। সাধারণত সুস্থ অবস্থায় হাতের কব্জিতে রেট তথা হৎস্পন্দনের মান প্রতি মিনিটে ৬০-১০০। হাতের কব্জিতে হালকা করে চাপ দিয়ে ধরে পালস রেট বের করা যায়।

স্ফিগমােম্যানােমিটার (Sphygmomanometer) বা সংক্ষেপে বিপি যন্ত্রের সাহায্যে রক্তচাপ মাপা যায়। এই যন্ত্র দিয়ে ডায়াস্টোলিক ও সিস্টোলিক চাপ দেখে রক্তচাপ নির্ণয় করা যায়।

নিচে আমার পরিবারের একজন সদস্যের ( আমার আব্বু) হাতের পালস রেট নির্ণয় করা হলো। এ পরীক্ষাটি তিনি ঘুম থেকে ওঠার পর করেছিলাম। কারণ পরীক্ষাটি করার সময় ব্যক্তিকে পরীক্ষণ এর পূর্বে অন্তত ৬ ঘন্টা চা, কফি, ধূমপান থেকে দূরে থাকতে হয়।

নিচে  আমার বাবার বিভিন্ন সময়ে তথা শোয়া, হাটা, বসা,  ৫ মিনিট দৌড়ানোর পর পালস রেট নির্ণয় করে উল্লেখ করা হলঃ

উল্লেখিত ছক ব্যবহার  করে বিভিন্ন সময় বিভিন্ন অবস্থায় প্রতি মিনিটে পালস রেট এর লেখচিত্র নিম্নরুপঃ

বিভিন্ন সময়ে তাঁর পালস রেট বিভিন্ন রকম। এর কারণ হচ্ছে তিনি সেই সময়গুলোতে আলাদা আলাদা শারীরিক অবস্থায় ছিলেন। শোয়া অবস্থায় তার শারীরিক কর্মকাণ্ড  সবচেয়ে কম। 

এজন্য তার পালস রেট শোয়া অবস্থায় সবচেয়ে কম।  বসা অবস্থায় তার বসার জন্য শক্তির প্রয়োজন হয়েছে, 

শারীরিক কর্মকান্ড বেড়েছে। তাই পালস রেট শোয়া অবস্থার চেয়ে বেড়েছে। দাড়ানো অবস্থায় তার শারীরিক কর্মকাণ্ডের জন্য শক্তি বসা অবস্থার চেয়ে বেশি প্রয়োজন ছিলো। তাই পালস রেট বসা অবস্থার চেয়ে বেড়েছে।

দ্রুতবেগে হাঁটা অবস্থায় তার শারীরিক কর্মকাণ্ড বেড়েছে, হৃদয়পিন্ডের গতি বেড়েছে তাই পালস রেটও এ অবস্থায়  সবচেয়ে বেড়ে ১২০ হয়েছে।

5th Week SSC Assignment Answer 2022 PDF Download All Subject Class 10

5th Week SSC Assignment Answer 2022 PDF Download All Subjects Class 10 has been published today on the My Daily Result BD website.  The Department of Secondary and Higher Education has directed to resume the suspended assignment activities of SSC candidates for the year 2022. Simultaneously, the fifth-week assignment of SSC candidates has been published. The assignment was published on the department’s website on Wednesday (August 11).

Earlier on July 24, the স্কুল assignment activities were suspended by the Department of Education. The moratorium was lifted in an order issued on Wednesday. Simultaneously the SSC fifth-week assignment was published. The Department of Education has asked the school students to distribute and submit assignments in compliance with the health rules. It is learned that due to Corona, all the educational institutions of the country have been closed from March 17, 2020. Normal class activities have been closed. The Ministry of Education has taken various measures as an alternative.

As part of this, NCTB has restructured the curriculum and syllabus for SSC candidates for 2022 AD. The NCTB has prepared class ten assignments with thematic assessment guidelines (including Rubix) to bring the students under the scope of continuous and continuous assessment of learning activities on the basis of the Ministry’s guidelines restructured curriculum.

The department further says that the learning outcomes achieved through assignments or assignments will be assessed. SSC 5th week / Fifth Week Assignments have been prepared to keep in view the weekly student assessment as per the rearranged syllabus.

Answer: ভূগােল ও পরিবেশ এর মধ্যকার সম্পর্ক বিষয়ক প্রতিবেদন করা হলোঃ

ভূগােলের ধারণা : গ্রীক পন্ডিত ইরেটোসথেনীস (Eratosthenes) প্রথম ভূগােল শব্দটি ব্যবহার করেছিলেন। গ্রীক শব্দ ‘জিও’ (Geo) অর্থ ভূমন্ডল বা পৃথিবী এবং ‘গ্রাফি’ (graphy) অর্থ বর্ণনা, সার্বিক অর্থে মানুষের আবাস এই পৃথিবীর বর্ণনা। ভূগােল বিষয়ের এই মূল ধারণার আজ অবধি তেমন বড় ধরনের কোন পরিবর্তন হয় নাই। তবে এই প্রসঙ্গে ভূগােল এর দুটি আধুনিক সংজ্ঞা বিবেচনা করা যেতে পারে।

হার্টশােনের মতে, “Geography is concerned to provide accurate, orderly and rational descriptions and interpretations of the variable character of the earth’s surface.” ভূ-পৃষ্ঠের বৈচিত্রময় বৈশিষ্ট্যাবলীর সঠিক, শ্ৰেণীবদ্ধ এবং যুক্তিসঙ্গত বর্ণনা এবং বিশ্লেষণই ভূগােলের আলােচ্য বিষয়’।

আরেকজন বিখ্যাত বৃটিশ আধুনিক ভূগােলবিদ পিটার হেগেট ( ১৯৮১ ) এর মতে, “Geography is the study of the earth’s surface as the space within which the human population lives.” অর্থাৎ যে শাস্ত্র ভূ-পৃষ্ঠকে মানবগােষ্ঠির বসবাসের স্থান হিসাবে অধ্যয়ন করে তাহাই ভূগােল।

পরিবেশের ধারণা : ভূপৃষ্ঠস্থ দৃশ্যমান এবং অদৃশ্য যাবতীয় জৈব ও অজৈব পদার্থের সমন্বয়ে পরিবেশ গঠিত। অজৈব পদার্থের আওতাভূক্ত বিষয়সমূহের মধ্যে পানি, বায়ুমন্ডল ও শিলা -মৃত্তিকা অন্যতম। বায়ুমন্ডল অদৃশ্য হলেও শিলা – মৃত্তিকা ও পানি দৃশ্যমান। পানি, বায়ুমন্ডল ও শিলা মৃত্তিকা সম্মিলিতভাবে জৈব পরিবেশের ভিত্তি গড়ে তুলেছে। পরিবেশকে তার গঠন মৌলের আলােকে জৈব ও অজৈব এ দুই পরিবেশে ভাগ করা যায়। অজৈব পরিবেশ মূলত : প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশ গড়ে তােলে। পানি, শিলা ও বায়ুমন্ডল প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশের প্রধান গঠনকারী উপাদান। অপরদিকে, এ সব প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশ গঠনকারী উপাদানই আবার সমস্ত প্রাণী ও উদ্ভিদের গঠন ভিত্তি গড়ে তােলে এবং শক্তি ও খনিজ জোগানের মাধ্যমে পরিবেশ টিকিয়ে রেখেছে।

ভূগােলের পরিধি ও শাখা : ভূগােলের পরিধি : বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তির বিকাশ, নতুন নতুন আবিষ্কার, উদ্ভাবন, চিন্তা – ধারণার বিকাশ, সমাজের মূল্যবােধের পরিবর্তন ভূগােলের পরিধিকে অনেক বিস্তৃত করেছে। এখন নানান রকম বিষয় যেমন ভূমিরূপবিদ্যা, আবহাওয়াবিদ্যা, সমুদ্রবিদ্যা, মৃত্তিকাবিদ্যা, প্রাণিবিদ্যা, সমাজবিদ্যা, অর্থনীতি, রাজনীতি ইত্যাদি ভূগােল বিষয়ের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়েছে।

ভূগােল ও পরিবেশের উপাদান সমূহের আন্তঃসম্পর্ক : পরিবেশের উপাদান : পরিবেশের উপাদান দুই প্রকার। যেমন : জড় উপাদান ও জীব উপাদান। যাদের জীবন আছে, যারা খাবার খায়, যাদের বৃদ্ধি আছে, জন্ম আছে, মৃত্যু আছে তাদের বলে জীব। গাছপালা, পশুপাখি, কীটপতঙ্গ মানুষ ও অন্যান্য প্রাণী হলাে জীব। এরা পরিবেশের জীব উপাদান। জীবদের নিয়ে গড়া পরিবেশ হলাে জীব পরিবেশ। মাটি, পানি, বায়ু, পাহাড়, পর্বত, নদী, সাগর, আলাে, উষ্ণতা, আর্দ্রতা হলাে পরিবেশের জড় উপাদান। এই জড় উপাদান নিয়ে গড়া পরিবেশ হলাে জড় পরিবেশ।

পরিবেশের প্রকারভেদ : পরিবেশ দুই প্রকার। ভৌত বা প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশ ও সামাজিক পরিবেশ। প্রকৃতির জড় ও জীব উপাদান নিয়ে যে পরিবেশ তাকে ভৌত বা প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশ বলে। এই পরিবেশে থাকে মাটি, পানি, বায়ু, পাহাড় পর্বত, নদী, সাগর, আলাে, গাছপালা, পশুপাখি, কীটপতঙ্গ, মানুষ ও অন্যান্য ক্ষুদ্র প্রাণী। মানুষের তৈরি পরিবেশ হলাে সামাজিক পরিবেশ। মানুষের আচার আচরণ, উৎসব – অনুষ্ঠান, রীতি – নীতি, শিক্ষা, মূল্যবােধ, অর্থনীতি, রাজনীতি ইত্যাদি নিয়ে যে পরিবেশ গড়ে ওঠে তা হলাে সামাজিক পরিবেশ।

ভূ- প্রকৃতি, মৃত্তিকা, জলবায়ু, নদ – নদী, আয়তন, অবস্থান, খনিজ সম্পদ ইত্যাদি বিভিন্ন প্রাকৃতিক উপাদনসমূহ যেমনিভাবে পরিবেশের উপাদান হিসেবে আমাদের কর্মকান্ডকে প্রভাবিত করে তেমনিভাবে শিক্ষা, সংস্কৃতি, জাতি, ধর্ম, সরকার এগুলাের মত মনুষ্য সৃষ্ট বিভিন্ন উপাদানসমূহও পরিবেশ হিসেবে আমাদের উপর প্রভাব বিস্তার করছে। তাই পরিবেশের উপাদানসমূহকে প্রধানত দুই ভাগে ভাগ করা যায়। যথা : ক ) প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশ; খ ) অপ্রাকৃতিক বা সামাজিক পরিবেশ।

ক) প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশ : প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশ হচ্ছে সে সব প্রাকৃতিক উপাদানের সমষ্টি যার উৎপত্তি এবং সৃষ্টি সরাসরি সৃষ্টিকর্তা কর্তৃক প্রদত্ত বা সৃষ্ট এবং এর উপর মানুষের কোন হাত নেই। নিড় প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশের প্রধান প্রধান উপাদানগুলাে সম্পর্কে সংক্ষিপ্ত আলােচনা করা হলাে :

১. ভূ – প্রকৃতি : মূলত ভূমির অবস্থা বা ধরনই হচ্ছে ভূ – প্রকৃতি। পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন দেশের বা অঞ্চলের ভূ – প্রকৃতি মূলত পার্বত্য ভূমি, মালভূমি, সমভূমি, উপত্যকা ইত্যাদি বিভিন্ন প্রকার হতে পারে। পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন স্থানের এসব ভূ – প্রকৃতি বিভিন্নভাবে মানুষের অর্থনৈতিক কার্যকলাপকে প্রভাবিত করে থাকে।

২. আয়তন : আয়তন বলতে কোন দেশের রাজনৈতিক বা আর্জাতিক সীমারেখাকে বুঝায়। একটি দেশের আয়তন ছােট, বড় বা মাঝারি যে কোন ধরনের হতে পারে। প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশের উপাদান হিসেবে এই আয়তনও মানুষের জীবন যাত্রার উপর ব্যাপকভাবে প্রভাব বিসুর করে থাকে। যেমন- আয়তনে বড় দেশগুলাে সম্পদে সমৃদ্ধ ও বৈচিত্রপূর্ণ হয় যা সেদেশের মানুষের জন্য অনেক বেশী সুবিধাজনক।

৩. অবস্থান : কোন দেশ পৃথিবীর কোন অঞ্চলে অবস্থিত সেটাই হচ্ছে তার ভৌগােলিক অবস্থান। একটি দেশের ভৌগােলিক অবস্থান চার প্রকারের হতে পারে। যথা : i) দ্বৈপ অবস্থান; যেমন- জাপান, বৃটিশ দ্বীপপুঞ্জ ইত্যাদি। ii) উপদ্বীপ অবস্থান; যেমন – যুক্তরাষ্ট্র, ভারত ইত্যাদি। iii) মহাদেশীয় অবস্থান; যেমন- আফগানিস্তান, নেপাল, ভূটান ইত্যাদি। iv) প্রায় অবস্থান; যেমন- সুইডেন, চীন ইত্যাদি।

কোন দেশের বাণিজ্যিক ও অর্থনৈতিক সুযােগ – সুবিধা এবং এর উন্নতি এই ভৌগােলিক অবস্থানের উপর অনেক নির্ভরশীল।

৪. জলবায়ু : অবস্থানগত তারতম্যের কারনে পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন দেশে উষ্ণ, নাতিশীতােষ্ণ ঠান্ডা, চরম ভাবাপন্ন ইত্যাদি। অবস্থানগত তারতম্যের কারনে পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন দেশে উষ্ণ, নাতিশীতােষ্ণ, ঠান্ডা, চরম ভাবাপন্ন ইত্যাদি বিভিন্ন প্রকার জলবায়ু দেখা যায়। জলবায়ুর এই বিভিন্নতার কারণে বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলের মানুষের বাসস্থান শিল্প, ব্যবসায় – বাণিজ্য প্রক্রিয়া, কর্মকুশলতা ইত্যাদির ভেতর পার্থক্য পরিলক্ষিত হয়।

৫. মৃত্তিকা : ভূ – পৃষ্ঠের উপরিভাগ যেসব উপাদান দিয়ে গঠিত তাকে মৃত্তিকা বা সহজ কথায় মাটি বলে। মৃত্তিকা মূলত : বেলে, এটেল, দো – আঁশ, পলি ইত্যাদি বিভিন্ন প্রকার হতে পারে। মৃত্তিকার বিভিন্নতার উপর ভিত্তি করে এদের গঠন প্রকৃতি, উর্বরা শক্তি ইত্যাদিও বিভিন্ন প্রকার হয়ে থাকে যার উপর মানুষের উপজীবিকা নির্ভর করে।

৬. স্বাভাবিক উদ্ভিজ্জ : ভূ – পৃষ্ঠের উপরিভাগে বিভিন্ন প্রাকৃতিক উপাদানের উপর ভিত্তি করে বিভিন্ন প্রকার গাছপালা জন্মে থাকে | এসব গাছপালার সমন্বয়ে বিভিন্ন বনভূমির সৃষ্টি হয় যা পরিবেশের উপর ব্যাপক প্রভাব বিস্তার করে থাকে।

৭. খনিজ সম্পদ : পেট্রোলিয়াম, গ্যাস, কয়লা, লােহা ইত্যাদিকে খনিজ সম্পদ বলে। এগুলাে হচ্ছে পৃথিবীর শিলারে অবস্থিত রাসায়নিক প্রক্রিয়াজাত বিভিন্ন ধরনের যৌগিক পদার্থ I কোন অঞ্চলে খনিজ সম্পদ ক্ষেত্রের আবিস্কার অতি দ্রুত সেই স্থানের অর্থনৈতিক কর্মকান্ডের ধরণ বদলে দিতে পারে।

৮. নদ – নদী ও সাগর : ইতিহাসের দিকে তাকালে আমরা দেখতে পাই যে, পৃথিবীর আদি সভ্যতাগুলাে নদী অববাহিকায় গড়ে উঠেছিল। আমরা আরও দেখতে পাই যে, যােগাযােগ ব্যবস্থার সুবিধা থাকার কারনে সাগর বা মহাসাগরের তীরবর্তী দেশগুলাে ব্যবসায়বাণিজ্যে অধিক উন্নতি লাভ করেছে। এক্ষেত্রে আমরা বৃটেন ও জাপানের উদাহরন দিতে পারি। তাই বলা যায় যে, প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশের গুরত্বপূর্ণ উপাদান হিসেবে নদ – নদী ও সাগর ব্যবসায় – বাণিজ্যের উন্নতিতে গুরত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে।

৯. উপকূল রেখা : উপকূল রেখা প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশের আরও একটি গুরত্বপূর্ণ উপাদান। এই উপকূল রেখা ভগ্ন বা অভগ্ন উভয় ধরনেরই হতে পারে। ভগ্ন উপকূল রেখা মৎস চাষ, বন্দর ও পােতাশ্রয় নির্মানের জন্য উপযােগী।

১০. প্রাণী ও প্রাণীজ সম্পদ : পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলে ভিন্ন ভিন্ন ভৌগােলিক পরিবেশ বিরাজ করায় সেখানে বিভিন্ন জীবজন্তুর আবাসস্থল গড়ে উঠেছে। এসব প্রাণীর জাত, উপজাত, বিচরন ক্ষেত্র, আহার ইত্যাদি বিভিন্ন ধরনের। এই প্রাণী ও প্রাণীজ সম্পদের উপর ভিত্তি করে পৃথিবীর অনেক মানুষ তাদের জীবিকা অর্জন করছে।

খ) অপ্রাকৃতিক বা সামাজিক পরিবেশ : মানুষ প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশের প্রভাব থেকে মেধা ও দক্ষতার বিকাশ, প্রশাসন, ধর্মীয় নীতি, লােকজ সংস্কার ইত্যাদির মাধ্যমে তার নিজের উপযােগী অনুকূল সুযােগ সৃষ্টির প্রয়াস চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে। আর পরিবেশের এই অংশটি যা মানুষ কর্তৃক সৃষ্ট এবং নিয়ন্ত্রিত হচ্ছে তাই হচ্ছে অপ্রাকৃতিক বা সামাজিক পরিবেশ। জাতি, ধর্ম, সরকার, জনসংখ্যা শিক্ষা, সংস্কৃতি ইত্যাদি হচ্ছে এই মানুষ কর্তৃক সৃষ্ট সামাজিক পরিবেশের বিভিন্ন উপাদান।

১. জাতি : পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলে বিভিন্ন জাতির মানুষ বাস করে। জাতিগত বৈশিষ্ট্য একটি দেশের অর্থনৈতিক উন্নতির ক্ষেত্রে গুরত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে। তাই যেসব জাতির লােক পরিশ্রমী, উদ্যমী, বুদ্ধিমান এবং সহিষ্ণু সেসব জাতি তাড়াতাড়ি উন্নতি লাভ করতে পারে।

২. ধর্ম : বিভিন্ন ধর্মের নিয়ম ও অনুশাসন বিভিন্ন প্রকার। বিভিন্ন ধর্মীয় অনুশাসন মানুষের কর্ম জীবনে যেমনি প্রভাব বিস্তুর করে তেমনি এর প্রভাবের কারনে অর্থনৈতিক কার্যকলাপও ভিন্নরূপে গড়ে ওঠে। বৌদ্ধ ও জৈন ধর্মে জীব হত্যা পাপ বলে জৈন ও বৌদ্ধ অধ্যুষিত অঞ্চল বিশেষ করে চীন, জাপান, মায়ানমার ( বার্মা ) প্রভৃতি দেশে দীর্ঘকাল মৎস ও মাংস শিল্পের প্রসার ঘটেনি।

৩. জনসংখ্যা : ভূ – প্রকৃতি, উর্বরতা, জীবিকার সংস্থান, যাতায়াত ব্যবস্থা, নিরাপত্তা ইত্যাদি প্রাকৃতিক ও অর্থনৈতিক কারনের উপর ভিত্তি করে জনবসতি গড়ে ওঠে। আর একটি দেশের যাবতীয় অর্থনৈতিক কার্যাবলী এই জনসংখ্যা দ্বারা সম্পাদিত হয়।

৪. সরকার : সরকার হলাে দেশ পরিচালনায় নিয়ােজিত একটি সংগঠন। কোন দেশের সরকারের কাঠামাে -এর স্থিতিশীলতা ও শক্তিমত্তা, সে দেশের শিল্প, বাণিজ্য ও অর্থনৈতিক ক্রিয়াকলাপের ওপর প্রভাব বিস্তার করে থাকে। তাই অর্থনৈতিক উন্নয়ন ত্বরান্বিত করার জন্য একটি দেশে সৎ, বলিষ্ঠ ও জনপ্রিয় সরকার অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

৫. শিক্ষা : সামাজিক পরিবেশের অন্যতম উপাদান হিসেবে শিক্ষা একটি দেশের অর্থনৈতিক উন্নয়নে বলিষ্ঠ ভূমিকা পালন করে। তাই উপযুক্ত ও আধুনিক শিক্ষা উন্নতির সােপান। যে দেশের লােক যত বেশী শিক্ষিত সে দেশ তত উন্নত। উদাহরণ হিসেবে এক্ষেত্রে আমরা জাপান, যুক্তরাষ্ট্র, জার্মানী, ফ্রান্স প্রভৃতি দেশের নাম বলতে পারি।

৬. সংস্কৃতি : মানবিক গুণাবলী বিকাশের ক্ষেত্রে সংস্কৃতি গুরত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে। তাই সংস্কৃতিতে অগ্রসর জাতি দ্রুত উন্নতি লাভ করতে পারে।

ক ) ঋতু পরিবর্তনের কারণ : (১) পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন স্থানে দিবারাত্রির তারতম্যের জন্য উত্তাপের হ্রাস – বৃদ্ধি : পৃথিবীর ঘূর্ণনের কারণে সূর্য পৃথিবীর যে গােলার্ধের নিকট অবস্থান করে তখন সেই গােলার্ধে দিন বড় এবং রাত ছােট। তার বিপরীত গােলার্থে রাত বড়, দিন ছােট। পৃথিবী দিনের বেলায় তাপ গ্রহণ করে ফলে ভূপৃষ্ঠ উত্তপ্ত হয় এবং রাতের বেলায় বিকিরণ করে শীতল হয়। তখন একটি স্থানে বড় দিনে ভুপৃষ্ঠ যে তাপ গ্রহণ করে ছােট রাতে সে তাপ পুরােটা বিকিরণ করতে পারে না। ঐ স্থানে সঞ্চিত তাপের কারণে আবহাওয়া উষ্ণ হয় এবং তাতে গ্রীষ্মকালীন আবহাওয়া পরিলক্ষিত হয়। বিপরীত গােলার্ধেরাত বড় এবং দিন ছােট হওয়াতে দিনের বেলায় যে তাপ গ্রহণ করে রাতের বেলায় সব তাপ বিকিরণ কত্রে ঠান্ডা অনুভূত হয় তখন শীতকাল।

(২) পৃথিবীর গােলাকার আকৃতি : পৃথিবী গােল, তাই পৃথিবীর কোথাও সূর্যরশ্মি লম্বভাবে পড়ে আবার কোথাও তির্যকভাবে পড়ে। ফলে তাপমাত্রার পার্থক্য হয় এবং ঋতু পরিবর্তিত হয়।

(৩) পৃথিবীর উপবৃত্তাকার কক্ষগণ : পৃথিবীর আবর্তন পথ উপবৃত্তাকার তাই বছরের বিভিন্ন সময় সূর্য থেকে পৃথিবীর দূরত্ব কমবেশি হয়। এতে তাপমাত্রার পার্থক্য হয়, তাই ঋতু পরিবর্তিত হয়।

(৪) পৃথিবীর কক্ষপথে কৌণিক অবস্থান : সূর্যকে পরিক্রমণের সময় নিজ কক্ষতলের সঙ্গে পৃথিবীর মেরুরেখা সমকোণে না থেকে ৬৬.৫° কোণে হেলে একই দিকে অবস্থান করে। এতে বছরে একবার পৃথিবীর উত্তর মেরু ও দক্ষিণ মেরু সূর্যের নিকটবর্তী হয়। যে গােলার্ধ যখন সূর্যের দিকে ঝুঁকে থাকে সে গােলার্ধে সূর্য লম্বভাবে কিরণ দেয়। তার তাপমাত্রা তখন বেশি হয় এবং দূরে গেলে তাপমাত্রা কম হয়, ফলে ঋতু পরিবর্তন ঘটে।

(৫) বার্ষিক গতির কারণে : পৃথিবীর বার্ষিক গভির জন্য সূর্যকিরণ বিভিন্ন স্থানে কমবেশি পড়ার কারণে বায়ুমন্ডলের তাপমাত্রার পার্থক্য ঘটছে। ফলে বিভিন্ন স্থানে জলবায়ুর বিভিন্ন হয়। একে ঋতু পরিবর্তন বলে।

খ) পৃথিবীর চারটি অবস্থা : আমরা জানি, পৃথিবীতে চারটি ঋতু গ্রীষ্মকাল, শরৎকাল, শীতকাল ও বসন্তকাল। সূর্যকে পরিক্রমণকালে পৃথিবীর চারটি অবস্থা থেকে ঋতু পরিবর্তনের ব্যাখ্যা পাওয়া যায়।

১. উত্তর গােলার্ধে গ্রীষ্মকাল ও দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধে শীতকাল : ২১ এ মার্চের পর থেকে পৃথিবী তার নিজ কক্ষপথে এগিয়ে চলার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে উত্তর মেরু ক্রমশ সূর্যের দিকে হেলতে থাকে। এর সঙ্গে সঙ্গে যত দিন যায় তত উত্তর মেরুতে আলােকিত অংশ বাড়তে থাকে | এভাবে ২১ এ জুনে গিয়ে সূর্য কর্কটক্রান্তি রেখার উপর লম্বভাবে কিরণ দিতে থাকে। ফলে ২১ জুন উত্তর গােলার্ধে বড় দিন এবং ছােট রাত হয়। ঐ দিনই সূর্যের উত্তরায়ণের শেষ এবং তার পরের দিন থেকে পুনরায় সূর্য দক্ষিণ দিকে আসতে থাকে। দিন বড় হওয়ার কারণে উত্তর গােলার্ধে ২১ জুনের দেড় মাস পূর্ব থেকেই গ্রীষ্মকাল শুরু হয় এবং পরে দেড় মাস পর্যন্ত গ্রীষ্মকাল স্থায়ী হয়। এই সময়ে দক্ষিণ গোলার্ধে ঠিক বিপরীত অবস্থা দেখা যায় অর্থাৎ শীতকাল অনুভূত হয়। এ সময় সূর্য হেলে থাকার কারণে এ গােলার্ধে সূর্য কম সময় ধরে কিরণ দেয়। ফলে দিন ছােট এবং রাত বড় হয়। দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধে এ সময়কে শীতকাল বলে।

২. উত্তর গােলার্ধে শরৎকাল দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধে বসন্তকাল : ২১ জুন থেকে দক্ষিণ মেরু সুর্যের দিকে হেলতে থাকে উত্তর গােলার্ধের অংশগুলাে কম কিরণ পেতে থাকে এবং দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধের অংশগুলাে বেশি কিরণ পেতে থাকে। এভাবে ২৩ সেপ্টেম্বর পূর্ব নিরক্ষরেখার উপর লম্বভাবে কিরণ দেয়। তাই এ সময় পৃথিবীর সর্বত্র দিন রাত সমান হয়। দিনের বেলায় যে তাপ আসে রাত সমান হওয়ায় একই পরিমাণ তাপ বিকিরিত হওয়ার সুযােগ পায়। ফলে আবহাওয়া তে ঠান্ডা গরমের পরিমাণ সমান থাকে। এই সময় উত্তর গােলার্ধে শরৎকাল ও দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধে বসন্তকাল বিরাজ করে। ২৩ সেপ্টেম্বরের দেড় মাস আগে থেকেই উত্তর গােলার্ধে শরৎকালের সূচনা হয় এবং দেড় মাস পর পর্যন্ত এই শরৎকাল স্থায়ী থাকে।

৩. উত্তর গােলার্ধে শীতকাল ও দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধে গ্রীষ্মকাল : ২৩ সেপ্টেম্বরের পর দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধ ক্রমশ সূর্যের দিকে হেলতে থাকে। এই সময় দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধ সূর্যের কাছে আসতে থাকে। উত্তর গােলার্ধ দূরে সরতে থাকে। ফলে দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধে সূর্য লম্বভাবে এবং উত্তর গােলার্ধে কোণ করে কিরণ দিতে থাকে। এতে উত্তর গােলার্ধে দিন ছােট ও দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধে দিন বড় এবং রাত ছােট হতে থাকে। এর মধ্যে ২২ এ ডিসেম্বর সূর্য পূর্ব মকরক্রান্তির উপর লম্বভাবে কিরণ দেয়। সেই দিন উত্তর গােলার্ধে ছােট দিন ও বড় রাত হওয়াতে শীতকাল। ঐ দিনই সূর্বের দক্ষিণায়নের শেষ এবং তার পরের দিন থেকে পুনরায় সূর্য উত্তর দিকে আসতে থাকে। ২২ ডিসেম্বরের দেড় মাস পূর্বে উরুর গােলাধে শীতকাল শুরু হয় এবং পরের দেড় মাস পর্যন্ত বিরাজ করে। এই সমটাতে দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধে গ্রীষ্মকাল।

পৃথিবী তার কক্ষপথে চলতে চলতে ২২ ডিসেম্বরের পর থেকে ২১ মার্চ পর্যন্ত এমন স্থানে ফিরে আসে যখন সূর্য নিরক্ষরেখার উপর লম্বভাবে কিরণ দিতে থাকে। ফলে ২১ এ মার্চ পৃথিবীর সর্বত্র দিনরাত্রি সমান হয়। দিনের বেলায় সূর্যকিরণের কারণে ভূপৃষ্ঠের বায়ুস্তর গরম হয় এবং রাত্রিবেলায় বিকিরিত হয়ে ঠান্ডা হয়। এই সময় উত্তর গােলার্ধে বসন্তকাল ও দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধে শরৎকাল। ২১ মার্চ পৃথিবীর সর্বত্র দিনরাত্রি সমান হয় এবং ঐ দিনটিকে বাসন্ত বিষুব বা মহাবিষুব বলে।

ঘ) বাংলাদেশে বিরাজমান ঋতু : পৃথিবীতে চারটি ঋতু গ্রীষ্মকাল, শরৎকাল, শীতকাল ও বসন্তকাল। সূর্যকে পরিক্রমণকালে পৃথিবীর চারটি অবস্থা থেকে ঋতু পরিবর্তনের ব্যাখ্যা পাওয়া যায়। এসময় বাংলাদেশে বিরাজমান ঋতু :

১. উত্তর গােলার্ধে গ্রীষ্মকাল ও দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধে শীতকাল : ২১ এ মার্চের পর থেকে পৃথিবী তার নিজ কক্ষপথে এগিয়ে চলার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে উত্তর মেরু ক্রমশ সূর্যের দিকে হেলতে থাকে। ২১ জুন উত্তর গােলার্ধে বড় দিন এবং ছােট রাত হয়। ঐ দিনই সূর্যের উত্তরায়ণের শেষ এবং তার পরের দিন থেকে পুনরায় সূর্য দক্ষিণ দিকে আসতে থাকে। দিন বড় হওয়ার কারণে উত্তর গােলার্ধে ২১ জুনের দেড় মাস পূর্ব থেকেই গ্রীষ্মকাল শুরু হয় এবং পরে দেড় মাস পর্যন্ত গ্রীষ্মকাল স্থায়ী হয়। বাংলাদেশ যেহেতু উত্তর গােলার্ধে অবস্থিত তাই এ সময়ে বাংলাদেশে গ্রীষ্মকাল বিরাজ করে।

২. উত্তর গােলার্ধে শরৎকাল দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধে বসন্তকাল : ২১ জুন থেকে দক্ষিণ মেরু সুর্যের দিকে হেলতে থাকে। ২৩ সেপ্টেম্বর পূর্ব নিরক্ষরেখার উপর লম্বভাবে কিরণ দেয়। তাই এ সময় পৃথিবীর সর্বত্র দিন রাত সমান হয়। এই সময় উত্তর গােলার্ধে শরৎকাল বিরাজ করে। ২৩ সেপ্টেম্বরের দেড় মাস আগে থেকেই উত্তর গােলার্ধে শরৎকালের সূচনা হয় এবং দেড় মাস পর পর্যন্ত এই শরৎকাল স্থায়ী থাকে। বাংলাদেশ যেহেতু উত্তর গােলার্ধে অবস্থিত তাই এ সময়ে বাংলাদেশে শরৎকাল বিরাজ করে।

৩. উত্তর গােলার্ধে শীতকাল ও দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধে গ্রীষ্মকাল : ২৩ সেপ্টেম্বরের পর দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধ ক্রমশ সূর্যের দিকে হেলতে থাকে। উত্তর গােলার্ধে দিন ছােট ও দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধে দিন বড় এবং রাত ছােট হতে থাকে। এর মধ্যে ২২ এ ডিসেম্বর সূর্য পূর্ব মকরক্রান্তির উপর লম্বভাবে কিরণ দেয়। সেই দিন উত্তর গােলার্ধে ছােট দিন ও বড় রাত হওয়াতে শীতকাল। ২২ ডিসেম্বরের দেড় মাস পূর্বে উরুর গােলার্ধে শীতকাল শুরু হয় এবং পরের দেড় মাস পর্যন্ত বিরাজ করে। বাংলাদেশ যেহেতু উত্তর গােলার্ধে অবস্থিত তাই এ সময়ে বাংলাদেশে শীতকাল বিরাজ করে।

৪. উত্তর গােলার্ধে বসন্তকাল ও দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধে শরৎকাল : পৃথিবী তার কক্ষপথে চলতে চলতে ২২ ডিসেম্বরের পর থেকে ২১ মার্চ পর্যন্ত এমন স্থানে ফিরে আসে যখন সূর্য নিরক্ষরেখার উপর লম্বভাবে কিরণ দিতে থাকে। ফলে ২১ এ মার্চ পৃথিবীর সর্বত্র দিনরাত্রি সমান হয়। এই সময় উত্তর গােলার্ধে বসন্তকাল ও দক্ষিণ গােলার্ধে শরৎকাল। বাংলাদেশ যেহেতু উত্তর গােলার্ধে অবস্থিত তাই এ সময়ে বাংলাদেশে বসন্তকাল বিরাজ করে।
