The automation of industrial and service sectors compromises the interests of the capitalists contributing to the inexorable decline in its rate of profit to be zero in the mid-twenty-first century and also of manual and the knowledge workers that they will be excluded from the labor market. In summary, the incessant and impetuous technical development, driven by competition between capitalists, forces them to invest in automated machinery that allows them to produce the same with the use of less labor time. Therefore, in their search for playback capital, capitalists tend to invest more in automated machinery and less in labor causing the rate of profit has a tendency to decrease. The main conclusion related to the automation of productive activity is that it would be viable only in a post-capitalist society that does not pursue profit and that humans are released from the labor burden with its replacement by automated machinery. Everything indicates that humanity is on the threshold of a new era in which a new society different from the current will born with the inexorable end of capitalism in the mid-twenty-first century and the workers will be released from the labor burden with the increasing of automation of industrial and services sectors.

This paper begins with how automation is threating the present and future generations by recruitment freezing, and its impact on ASEAN-5 countries especially and also provides the need of man vs. machine integration in creating a better future. Automation is an idea that has mostly inspired science fiction writers and Hollywood based movies, writers and futurologists over a period of century. Now automation is no longer viewed as an fiction, where across the globe majority of the companies are using robots in the production process, managing inventories and to carry out the other core business functions. Due, to this Automation process there also exists some benefits like reducing the wastage, changing the pace and scope of work processes etc, and on the negative side the disadvantage is the cut in huge employment across various sectors across the globe. Automation of activities will enable businesses to improve performance, by reducing errors and improving quality and speed, and in some cases achieving outcomes that go beyond human capabilities. The data and views presented in this paper is purely secondary in nature collected from various research reports, magazines, articles etc. The basic objective of the researcher is to present his opinion on automation and its impact on employments in near coming future across various sectors. In this paper an attempt was also made how wide range of technologies could automate workplace activities, and also the impact on global workforce. This work does not define what the new activities and occupations that will be developed will be, nor does it analyze in depth how the economic gains of automation will be distributed or provide specific policy recommendations for governments.

In order to answer this question, we must consider three scenarios, a world where all jobs have been automated, the transition period and whether we may be able to achieve such society or not. Coppola in (Westlake, 2014) claims that the outcome of further technological implementation will depend on the willingness of people to give up job security and how good the system is at educating them. In practice all socio, political and economic theories have failed and become versions of the same thing. In this way, they are all utopic. For the first time in history humans have a realistic possibility of achieving a fairer society. The key to this is automation, freeing people to focus on more aspirational and higher social goals.

In today’s world, technology is an indispensable part of our daily life. However, to be able to keep up with the growing demand, new technologies needed to be invented to increase the pace of production and to lower costs. Abstract There is no gain-saying that in the near future, our world, as it is known today will experience dramatic change, improvement, efficient means of doing things and loss of jobs in terms of work displacements. This has been the case since 1946 when the automobile industry improved their production by the use of automatic devices and controls – a term referred to as automation. Most experts, at the time, raised concern about these machines replacing factory workers. Rather than augment workers, and improve productivity, this process was misunderstood. But as we approach the latter part of the year 2020, a new paradigm shift seems to have occurred regarding the role of automation and AI in the future of work.
