2024 1st International Business Plan Competition

A. BACKGROUND

The current era of globalization may be felt with the quick and simple flow of resources, technology, and information, as well as the economic opportunities available in the global market. Business is no longer limited by geographical boundaries, instead companies from different countries can easily interact and collaborate, creating an increasingly complex and dynamic business environment. In this context, it is important for young entrepreneurs and innovators to have a deep understanding of global business dynamics and the skills to compete in competitive international markets. A country’s economic progress and the well-being of society depend on the number of entrepreneurs. Until 2022, the number of start-ups in Southeast Asia has not grown significantly. Likewise, existing Small and Medium Enterprises are still below 10% of the total productive age. So that a strategy is needed to increase new entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia.

Have you ever thought about a business plan? When someone wants to start a business, they need to have a business plan in place.. When you start a business, it also means you have to be ready to face all the challenges that might occur. The challenges here are not only limited to when you are looking for production ideas to sell, but also in preparing business strategies, determining market targets, managing costs and even finding investors. T Business plan is an idea plan for a business that is expressed in document form. This business plan contains business targets, goals, concepts and objectives to be achieved from the business being run. This business plan is intended as a detailed business plan that is usually made when first starting it up. Generally, this business plan contains an overview of the business activities carried out, starting from the preparations that have been made, the potential profits that will be obtained and the goals to be achieved. If you are planning to run a business, then here are some of the elements that are included in the business plan created. 1. Brief information about the business owned The first point that must be in the business plan is information related to your business. This starts from the business name, complete and clear address, background to establishing the business, desired target market and so on. Even though it is short, make it so that it covers all the necessary elements. 2. Description of the Company If you have provided information concisely and clearly. You can mention the vision and mission, what business the company offers and the company’s goals and expectations from the business. 3. Goods or Services An equally important part of making a business plan is what goods or services are offered to the public. Explain briefly why people need to use these goods or services, their advantages compared to others and so on. 4. Market Analysis You also need to analyze the market for the goods or services offered. Explain why the target market needs the goods or services you offer. 5. Marketing Strategy Marketing strategy is of course an important element of a business plan. Because, this is one way to introduce products to potential customers while retaining them to always use the products you offer. This strategy can be included in various ways so that the business continues to grow. 6. Financial Plan It is inevitable that money is an important element in a business plan. Explain well how much capital is needed and what the capital is for because investors really need this information. ADAI, as a professional organization for lecturers who are concerned with accounting and finance, really needs to play a role in fostering student enthusiasm and motivation as new entrepreneurs in the future. ADAI has strength from the university network side, as well as professional members, both doctors and professors in the field of finance. With this strength, ADAI is holding the 2024 INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION for students in various countries, especially in Southeast Asia.

B. OBJECTIVE OF THE ACTIVITY​

Growing student business motivation in southeast asia to increase the growth of the number of entrepreneurs in each country., increase competency in preparing ideal business plans for students, especially in the field of financial analysis., preparing the future generation of asean student entrepreneurs who come from students., c. target participants, the target participants are students from all majors from campuses in southeast asian countries., students represent the campus each campus that becomes a co host sends groups of participants according to the package taken:, gold package, consisting of 7 groups with participation fee idr2,500,000 ($157), silver package, consisting of 6 groups with participation fee idr2,000,000 ($125), bronze package, consisting of 5 groups with participation fee idr1,800,000 ($113), general/independent students students from the same or different campuses are participants with a total of 3 students, with a participation fee of idr 500,000/group., d. forms of activity:, e. stages of business plan competition 2024.

• Participants send presentation scripts and videos to the Committee.
• Manuscript Terms:

a.  The manuscript contains 8 points

• Product background: Supported with data
• Product Specifications
• Segmenting and Targeting
• Product Positioning
• Investment Feasibility Analysis (NPV, BEP and PBP)
• Financial Analysis: Profit and Loss 1 month
• Capital strategy
• Marketing / Marketing Strategy

b.  Manuscripts are sent via the link prepared by the committee along with the participant registration form

• Video Presentation Terms
• Videos are recorded with a maximum duration of 10 minutes
• Explain the contents of the manuscript
• Uploading videos on YouTube
• Display ADAI LOGO on Video

ASSESSMENT STAGE 1 AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE TOP 50 (ONLINE)

Furthermore, all Business Plan Manuscripts will be selected by a Panel of Judges/Reviewers and the 50 Best and proportionally selected for each Province and Country.

TRAINING/WORKSHOP STAGES (ONLINE)

The top 50 selected were given online training, about the ideal Business Plan, by professional trainers.

ASSESSMENT STAGE 2 AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE TOP 10/FINALISTS (ONLINE)

• Top 50 participants perfect Business Plan Scripts and Videos according to the results of the Training/Workshop
• The revised manuscript will be sent again to the link prepared by the committee
• The enhanced video is posted on IG and the ADAI IG Tag (ada1.official)

FINAL ASSESSMENT STAGE (OFFLINE)

• 15 Finalists were invited to the Final Location and the highlight of the event in Malaysia.
• Final assessment will select 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place winners.
• The committee does not cover the costs of final participants going to Malaysia

F. FACILITIES FOR PARTICIPANTS

Pengumuman! Inilah Juara UNM Business Plan Competition 2022

Business Plan Competition diikuti  peserta dari seluruh provinsi di Indonesia.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Generasi muda harus terus beradaptasi dengan perubahan, berinovasi  untuk melahirkan ide-ide bisnis yang lebih cemerlang di Indonesia, juga harus memiliki kepedulian terhadap pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM) telah sukses menggelar UNM Business Plan Competition 2022. Kegitan ini secara khusus diperuntukkan bagi siswa/i sekolah SMA/SMK/MA sederajat.

Kegiatan UNM Business Plan Competition 2022 ini, sekarang sudah memasuki babak puncak dan telah mengumumkan tiga juara yang berhasil lolos menjadi the best preneur. Sesi penjurian telah berlangsung secara daring, pada Senin (17/1) lalu. Penjurian diketuai oleh Maruloh selaku kepala NEC (Nusa Mandiri Entrepreneur Center).

Maruloh mengatakan, telah diputuskan pada kegiatan kompetisi ini, sebanyak empat  tim yang lolos sebagai pemenang.  Yakni,  juara I Tim Schemo asal SMA Alhikmah Surabaya Jawa Timur, juara II Tim Dran Shoes asal SMA Mazroatul Ulum Lamongan Jawa Timur, juara III Tim Let Chise asal SMK Telkom Malang Jawa Timur dan juara Favorit Tim Mie Rebut asal MAN 3 Sleman Yogyakarta.

“Business Plan Competition 2022 (UNM BPC 2022) merupakan kompetisi tingkat nasional tahun 2022 diikuti oleh peserta yang berasal dari seluruh provinsi di Indonesia,” ungkapnya dalam rilis yang diterima Republika.co.id, Senin (24/1). 

Sementara itu, Ishak Kholil, sebagai ketua pelaksana membeberkan, para pemenang sudah melewati tahapan panjang dalam kompetisi, mulai dari pendaftaran, pengumpulan proposal bisnis hingga pengumuman pemenang. 

Ia berharap siswa/i yang telah lolos sebagai juara, bisa menjadi inspirator bagi rekan-rekan sebaya dari sekolah lain.

“Semoga adanya kompetisi ini mampu mendorong generasi muda untuk terus berinovasi dan melahirkan ide-ide hebat demi mendukung kemajuan bangsa,” harapnya.

Selanjutnya, Arif Hidayat selaku wakil rektor bidang nonakademik UNM, turut menyampaikan ucapan selamat bagi para pemenang lomba UNM Business Plan Competition 2022.  Ia berpesan untuk terus berinovasi dalam berbisnis demi kemajuan bangsa.

“Semoga ajang lomba ini  dapat menjadi motivasi siswa sekolah untuk terus berkarya dan berinovasi dalam menciptakan bisnis-bisnis baru di Indonesia,” tutupnya.

Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP) RI mengadakan kompetisi bisnis LPDP Business Competition 2023. Awardee, alumni beasiswa LPDP, maupun masyarakat umum bisa mendaftar hingga hingga 31 Mei 2023.

Kompetisi bisnis LPDP ini terdiri dari 2 kategori yakni Business Initiation Plan Competition dan Business Growth Plan Competition, seperti dijabarkan dalam unggahan Instagram resmi LPDP @lpdp_ri, dikutip Rabu (3/5/2023).

Perbedaan dari dua kategori tersebut terletak pada lamanya bisnis berjalan. Kategori Business Initiation Plan diperuntukkan bagi pengusaha yang memiliki ide, rencana bisnis, atau sudah menjalankannya maksimal 2 tahun.

2. Kategori pendaftar: - LPDP: Founder atau co-founder dari ide/bisnis adalah awardee atau alumni LPDP - Mahasiswa/umum - Siswa aktif SMA/SMA/SMK/sederajat

3. Mendaftar dengan anggota tim founder maksimal 3 orang

4. Ide bisnis atau bisnis yang didaftarkan harus memiliki tema yang sesuai dengan ketentuan kompetisi

5. Ide bisnis atau bisnis yang didaftarkan bukan merupakan produk franchise, reseller, dropship atau MLM

6. Jika memiliki bisnis, bisnis berjalan maksimal 2 tahun

7. Bersedia untuk mengikuti seluruh rangkaian kegiatan penjurian

B. Kategori Business Growth Plan

2. Kategori pendaftar: - LPDP: Founder atau co-founder dari ide/bisnis adalah awardee atau alumni LPDP - Mahasiswa/umum - Siswa aktif SMA/SMA/SMK/sederajat 3. Mendaftar dengan anggota tim founder maksimal 3 orang

Runner-up in the Business Plan Competition 2023 organized by the Management Business Club of Bumigora University

[Achievements of SIFORS] Exciting news comes from one of the 2020 Information Systems students (SIFORS'20) who participated in the Business Plan Competition 2023 organized by the Management Business Club of Bumigora University. The Undiksha team, led by I Gede Artha Wibawa from the Information Systems program, with team member Ni Kadek Anggun Purwita Sari from the Management program, successfully won second place out of 25 teams from various universities across Indonesia. The 2022 Business Plan Competition carried the theme "New Business in New Era." The competition consisted of two stages: the proposal selection stage and the final presentation stage. The I Gede Artha Wibawa team made it to the final round held on March 13, 2023, and ultimately secured second place in the competition.

Congratulations to the Undiksha team! May they continue to achieve more remarkable accomplishments and bring honor to the Information Systems program in particular and Undiksha in general.

Hosted and organized by the  Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship , which is Rice University's internationally-recognized initiative devoted to the support of entrepreneurship, and Rice Business, the Rice Business Plan Competition offers an educational program mirroring real-world experience through this multi-day event for student startups from across the world.

Beyond just the world-renowned prizes, student startups spend time interacting with our judges and prize sponsors—providing valuable access and experience with both early-stage and later-stage investors.
