Personal statement - msc logistics and supply chain management share.

  • 12 May, 2013

I am keen to pursue MSc (PGCertPGDip) Logistics and Supply Chain Management progamme at the University of Brighton because the professional world today is highly competitive and the importance of supply chain management and logistics in globalization, and digitization has multiplied. As I aim to improve and strengthen my knowledge of this Logistics and Supply Chain Management. This course covers topics such as Digital Supply Chain, International Logistics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, Enterprise Systems, and Strategic Purchasing. These are the aspects that have caught my attention and stimulated my imagination with the necessary innovations and strategic performances in business. I believe that it will be the right choice for my plans and objectives.

By researching the website of the University of Brighton I have seen the modules, syllabus, and learning outcomes of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management MSc (PGCertPGDip) progamme. This course is designed for graduates in any subject with or without work experience. The programme helps prepare me for a career in the alternative supply chain of case studies, company inspections, and paid work experience. This course includes face-to-face learning tutorials, workshops, laboratory classes, and studio sessions. This course is organized in 3 terms. In the first term of this course international logistics and financial and managerial accounting conduct operations in the supply, production, distribution of equipment, and strategy methods. The second term of this course provides knowledge development of business and management research methods, enterprise systems, chain management, various workshops, and strategic approaches. The third term of this course will help explore purchasing policies and practices in a broader global context. Since I have had the opportunity to study this course, I look forward to improving my skills and knowledge by taking this Logistics and Supply Chain Management course at Brighton University. If I can successfully complete this course it will create a platform for me to explore different career opportunities such as logistics analyst, purchasing manager, supply chain manager, and logistics manager. I believe this course will be the right choice for my career plans and objectives.

I completed my secondary and intermediate from the business studies group respectively. After that, I studied Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Information System at Daffodil International University. In my bachelor's degree, I was involved in various co-curricular activities to enrich my knowledge. Now I have come to realize that, I need to explore more about the business world to progress in my career level and for this reason, I decide to pursue my higher studies in the UK. As I want to explore my career in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management sector, this course will give me an upper hand to understand any business contexts and situations. I think I should gain more knowledge in the field of logistics and Supply Chain Management so I decided to continue my further studies with this course. This course provides academic knowledge and skills to pursue career opportunities worldwide and will help me develop a broader understanding of specific areas. As of the moment, I am interested in learning all the related skills and knowledge from this course. So, I believe that this course will make me fit for my successful career and help in my employment.

It was difficult to pick a specialization from the various options available to me, but I finally decided to build a career in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management section. Studying this course provides a variety of opportunities that enable me to adopt a creative and constructively critical approach to practice, supported by appropriate reading and research. This course module includes International Logistics and Finance, Supply Chain Analytics, and Operations Management for Logistics, Enterprise Systems and E-procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Research Methods for Masters Degrees, and Strategic Purchasing. For professionals, I believe this course will be the right choice for those looking for a successful career.

There are several reasons why I should have completed my higher degree in the UK. There is a long history of welcoming international students to study at UK universities and I like UK culture because they teach to be realistic. It is true that the UK is a well-known and well-liked destination for students looking to study abroad. Because of the UK's longstanding reputation for high-quality higher education, I have decided to pursue my higher education there. However, the study environment in my country follows the theoretical system of education which is quite different and no soft skills are acquired. The UK maintains a quality management system with high standards in all fields. Affordable tuition fees have attracted me the most. In addition, an academic degree from the United Kingdom is recognized and acclaimed by employers around the world. The transferable skills from the UK are key to advancing graduates through organizational growth and gaining a competitive advantage. This is again a reason to study in the UK. A recent survey of International Graduation Results in 2019 produced by iGraduate by Universities UK International shows that 82% of international graduates say their UK degree is valuable for financial investment and a similar number of graduates say they are satisfied or delighted with their careers. About 83% think a UK degree has helped them get a job. These aspects have driven my ambition to get a degree from a UK institution. I believe it will be helpful for my professional career.

I like the University of Brighton because it incredibly welcomes international students and I am attracted to this course because it offers a different perspective in an area where I want to study. With over 18,985students, the university offers outstanding higher education for people from all backgrounds and over 150 countries, with a significant mature student body and a growing international graduate community. The university is ranked 601st in the QS World University Rankings by Top Universities and has an overall score of 4 stars, according to student reviews in the study portals. According to DLHE 2018-2019, 89% of graduates are working and/or further studying within three months of graduation. In addition, the university has a well-equipped campus. By researching a lot, I have come to know that, the University of Brighton provide tuition to their students that goes way beyond the classroom. It enables me to take pride in helping businesses take me to new horizons by applying the knowledge and skills I can gain through Logistics and Supply Chain Management. So, I believe this course is right for my future career so I will never look back if I get the chance to study the course at the University of Brighton.

Sample Personal Statement in Logistics and Supply Chain

personal statement for procurement and supply chain management

by Talha Omer, MBA, M.Eng., Harvard & Cornell Grad

In personal statement samples by field.

The following personal statement is written by an applicant who got accepted to Masters’s program in logistics and supply chain. Variations of this personal statement got accepted at the Boston University and Penn State. Read this essay to understand what a top personal statement in logistics and supply chain should look like.

Sample Personal Statement for Logistics and Supply Chain

My passion for venturing into the intricacies of supply chain roots back to a rather unusual jaunt on a very ordinary night. While searching for a particular brand of infant formula milk for my first child, I found that stocks were depleted at all local stores and that fresh consignments would reach in around three weeks. As a customer, I felt disappointed. As a business graduate, I began to contemplate, and a volley of unsettling questions came to my mind:  How could companies afford to be complacent in managing their supply networks? How could they not mitigate risk to their supply chain?  This episode kindled my interest in Supply Chain Management and its absence in a flourishing market.

After my undergraduate degree, I started a business under the tutelage of my father. We acquired a bankrupt sugar factory and turned it around. As the head of operations, I lead a team of 300 people. Within one year, we achieved historical production by implementing iterative and closed-loop systems to identify constraints and then removed them. This paved way for financial rehabilitation of the factory that had $14 Million in unpaid bank loans. By the end of the contract tenure, the production capacity had been expanded by 300%, the entire loan had been paid off, and the project was now cited as a case study of turnaround by banks and industry. This beginning gave me immense encouragement and a sense of validation that I could lead, and accomplish incredible feats, and that I have the expertise that matter in the business world.

With this experience, I moved away from factory operations and took on the responsibility of developing an Ethanol factory. This required a completely different set of skills in Project Management. Exposed to multi-dimensional roles from Engineering to Construction and Management to Procurement, I worked as lead project controller with people from diverse cultures. In the process, I gained rich opportunities to lead cross-functional teams. Fourteen months later, the project had become yet another success story. Having received three awards from the government for Best Exports in the Ethanol sector, my father openly acknowledged my contributions to the family business.

A series of projects followed. Each project brought with it new challenges. One project that broadened my horizon was the transformer manufacturing startup that I had founded during the summer break of my MBA. It was tough and I had to juggle between the MBA and the startup. But the success was sweeter. It got me applying all my business education. In a couple of years, the startup evolved into a blossoming business, occupying 40,000 square feet of space in the industrial hub. It brushes shoulders with old guards of the industry and commands massive respect. Running under a new CEO allowed me to pursue my next dream.

Fascinated by supply chain and logistics, as I observed from my previous experiences, I signed up for and earned the Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP). Moving forward, I completed the more tactical Certified in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM). Finally, I found my calling. It only helped that everything I had done in the past always had some dimension of supply chain. However, the experiences still needed to be realized into my actual vision. Vision of distribution systems feeding retailer with a multitude of products. Vision of using analytical and optimization tools to preserve efficiency in operations.

My area of interest is Demand Planning because of the potential it lends to the company and the impact it has on the brand. Within the Demand Planning segment, Forecasting Demand is something I want to master. The variety of analytical tools intrigues me. Co-joined with demand management and fulfillment, I want to progress to the strategic level to balance customer demands and the firm’s output capabilities.

Ever-increasing consumerism has offered opportunities to those who are prepared for real-world challenges. I am a dreamer. I want to break the norms. After being equipped with the necessary knowledge, I want to establish my logistics & distribution company. This would be a global entity, the portfolio of which would include industrial, agricultural, and consumer goods. There are a few, if any, such service providers locally, and much needs to be done to satisfy growing customer needs. I am driven to establish a company that meets customers’ expectations, bringing products that are affordable and accessible and that result in net gains in the supply chain. The mentors define it as “getting the right product in the right quantity and condition at the right place for the right customer at the right price.”

To lead a truly international organization, an MS in supply chain and logistics is my best choice to gain these skills quickly. The specific tools and knowledge imparted by Supply Chain Analytics, Advanced Simulation for decision making, and Forecasting for Management will strengthen my expertise. It will also provide me with an understanding of multi-echelons in an expanded Supply Chains and Logistics Strategy in such context. I will use the thesis best by putting the acquired knowledge into practice and diving deep into the real-world business. For me, supply chain and logistics is the best match.

Statement of Purpose – Supply Chain Management

In today’s interconnected and increasingly competitive global economy, companies must have cutting-edge supply chain management in order to stay abreast of changes in global production capacity and adjust accordingly. For my future career, I am interested in contract manufacturing in countries such as China and Korea. Specifically, I hope to work as a Purchasing Manager at a company such as Samsung, which must maintain innovative development and implementation of supply chain strategies in order to stay competitive and profitable on an international scale. By studying at XXX University, I expect to learn more about all of the links in a supply chain and how to make strategic changes as needed to ensure continued competitiveness. Through the extensive academic resources in your program, including not only the classes and lectures but also the industry links and practical experiences, I expect to emerge with a highly practical understanding of how to manage a complex supply chain in the contemporary dynamic business world.

With the academic and work experiences I have accumulated thus far, I feel well prepared and confident to enter your MSc program. In 2012, I earned a Bachelor of Management degree from Goodwell State University, specializing in Financial Management. Through this program, I acquired a general introduction to many aspects related to management, including marketing, supply chain, human resources, finance and accounting. I also worked on a number of research papers concerning, for example, the pricing of IPOs and SWOT analysis of companies. In my senior year, I took an internship in UBC bank, where I gained a much more practical perspective of what I had learned in classes while honing my professional skills and learning of the operations of a successful large-scale company. Since graduation, I have been working in the credit department of MegaSuper Bank, dealing directly with individual and corporate customers and analyzing risk on a daily basis.

My university studies and work experience give me a broad understanding of the business world, and it is because of this perspective that I have decided to focus on supply chain management for my future career. Because supply chain management is an inherently international field, I know that I could benefit greatly by undertaking further studies overseas, which is why I am applying to your university. In preparation for going abroad, I have been studying English intensively, and I recently earned excellent GMAT and IELTS scores, as shown on my CV. By studying in your program, I hope to acquire broader, more in-depth knowledge of this subject, with the goal of going on to a career as a Purchasing Manager. This will require me to have a keen understanding of all links in the supply chain. Through the lectures, case studies, and research project undertaken in your program, I expect to soon have the skills necessary to help companies ensure a competitive supply chain. In other words, I view an education in XXX University as a crucial stepping stone towards my future career.

Achieving Women’s Excellence in Supply Chain.

Sample 1st Paragraph BSc Production Management. Applicant from Zambia

personal statement for procurement and supply chain management

Heroines of Supply Chain

Annette Clayton

Annette Clayton is well-known in supply chain circles, as she led a radical and successful transformation at  Dell : Clayton set a strategic standard that many in supply chain are still following.

Clayton’s career started in the notoriously tough world of automotive, with more than 20 years at  General Motors , including executive roles in production, engineering, quality and even as President of Saturn Corporation.

Recently named President and CEO of  Schneider Electric  ’s North American operations, Clayton still serves as the company’s Chief Supply Chain Officer.

She has been a huge contributor to the SCM World community, actively participating in EAB meetings despite a brutal time-zone penalty dialing in from  Asia . She is also instrumental to their growth, as a mentor to their own Matt Davis, who worked for her at Dell.

Beth Ford  is EVP and COO for Land O’Lakes; has responsibility for supply chain operations from farm to customer including R&D and IT.

Ford is also the spiritual heart of SCM World’s efforts on gender diversity in the profession. Her experience runs deep and spans a crazy range of industries, but on top of that, she makes the time to shape education for the future with board seats at both Columbia and Iowa State universities.

Maria Lindenberg  is the Chief Procurement Officer for Chevron, controlling $46 billion in annual spending.

As a graduate of Arizona State’s supply chain program, Lindenberg is in good company with dozens of other top sourcing executives from the Carey School of Business.

As CPO, she was central to a recently completed project of massive proportions – the  Gorgon Project  off the northwest coast of Australia. This six-year effort is the largest single resource development in Australia’s history: it’s and a complex web of partnerships, both public and private.

Maria’s mind is flexible, clear and results oriented with the best possible combination of practicality and precision.

Sandra MacQuillan is the first ever Chief Supply Chain Officer at Kimberly-Clark Corporation.

As a CPG veteran bringing many years of experience from Mars, MacQuillan was handpicked to establish a board-level role for supply chain at KCC: this includes not only establishing an operating strategy, but also building a team capable of driving change in a challenging time for the industry.

MacQuillan is a huge inspiration combining world-class professionalism in the job with extraordinary empathy. She is always, as the song goes, “ touring the facility and picking up slack ”.

Supply chain is an interesting industry, and needs more women! If you want a challenge, and we can help you make waves in this field, please don’t hesitate to tell us how we can do this together.

Writing Your Supply Chain Resume: Section By Section

header, 1. put your name front and center.

Your name should be the most prominent element in your header, as it's the first thing recruiters will look for. Make sure it stands out by using a larger font size than the rest of your contact details.

Here's an example of a well-formatted name in a supply chain resume header:

Avoid formatting your name in a way that makes it hard to read or looks unprofessional, such as:

2. Include essential contact details

After your name, list your professional email address and phone number. These are the two most important pieces of contact information for recruiters.

Make sure your email address is professional and includes your name, such as:

  • [email protected]

Avoid using outdated or unprofessional email addresses like:

For your phone number, include the area code and use a format that's easy to read, such as:

555-123-4567

3. Add your location, if relevant

If you're applying for a supply chain role that requires you to be based in a specific location, it's a good idea to include your city and state in your header. This shows recruiters that you're a local candidate and avoids any confusion.

However, if you're applying for remote positions or are open to relocating, you can leave your location out of your header. Instead, you might include a brief statement such as:

Open to relocation

This indicates your flexibility to recruiters without taking up valuable space in your header.

  Summary

A resume summary for a supply chain role is optional, but it can be a great way to provide additional context about your experience and qualifications that may not be immediately clear from the rest of your resume. This is especially useful if you're changing careers or have a lot of experience to summarize. However, you should never use an objective statement, as it's outdated and doesn't provide value to the employer.

When writing your summary, focus on highlighting your most relevant skills, experience, and achievements related to supply chain management. Avoid repeating information that's already covered in other sections of your resume, and keep it concise - aim for no more than a short paragraph. Don't directly mention soft skills or use corporate buzzwords like "proven track record." Instead, demonstrate your skills and experience through specific examples and achievements.

How to write a resume summary if you are applying for a Supply Chain resume

To learn how to write an effective resume summary for your Supply Chain resume, or figure out if you need one, please read Supply Chain Resume Summary Examples , or Supply Chain Resume Objective Examples .

1. Tailor your summary to the specific supply chain role

When crafting your resume summary for a supply chain position, it's crucial to tailor it to the specific role and company you're applying to. This means highlighting the skills, experience, and achievements that are most relevant to the job description and the company's needs.

For example, if the job description emphasizes experience with inventory management and logistics software, your summary might look like this:

Supply chain professional with 5+ years of experience optimizing inventory levels and streamlining logistics processes using SAP and Oracle systems. Implemented new inventory tracking procedures that reduced stockouts by 20% and saved the company $500K annually.

On the other hand, a generic summary that doesn't speak to the specific role or company, like the following, is less effective:

Experienced supply chain manager with a proven track record of success. Strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and leadership. Seeking a challenging new opportunity to grow my career.

2. Quantify your achievements with specific metrics

To make your resume summary more impactful, include specific, quantifiable achievements that demonstrate the value you've brought to previous employers. This helps the hiring manager understand the scope and scale of your contributions.

  • Reduced supply chain costs by 15% through strategic vendor negotiations and process improvements
  • Implemented a new warehouse management system that increased order accuracy to 99.5%

Avoid vague or unsubstantiated claims, such as:

  • Improved supply chain efficiency
  • Strong track record of success

By quantifying your achievements, you provide concrete evidence of your skills and experience, making your resume summary more compelling to potential employers.

  Experience

Your work experience section is the heart of your resume. It's where you show hiring managers how you've made an impact in previous roles, and how you can help their company succeed. In this section, we'll break down the key things you need to do to make sure your work experience section is as strong as possible.

1. Highlight your supply chain accomplishments

When writing your work experience, don't just list your responsibilities. Focus on your achievements and the impact you made. Use numbers and metrics to quantify your success.

Here are some examples:

  • Reduced inventory carrying costs by 15% through implementing just-in-time inventory management system
  • Negotiated new contracts with suppliers, resulting in $500K in annual cost savings
  • Improved order fulfillment accuracy to 99.7%, up from 97%

Notice how these examples use specific numbers. They also use strong action verbs like "reduced", "negotiated", and "improved" to highlight the impact.

2. Tailor your experience to the job

Read the job description carefully and make sure your work experience highlights the skills and qualifications they're looking for. Here's an example of how you can tailor your experience:

  • Managed inventory levels and placed orders with suppliers

This is too generic. Instead, try something like:

  • Implemented inventory management system using ERP software, reducing stockouts by 20%

The second example is more specific and highlights relevant skills like ERP software experience.

Our Targeted Resume tool can help you tailor your resume. It analyzes your resume against a job description and identifies missing keywords and skills.

3. Show your career progression

Hiring managers like to see candidates who have taken on increasing levels of responsibility. If you've been promoted or taken on leadership roles, make sure to highlight that in your work experience.

Supply Chain Manager, ABC Company, 2018-2022 • Led a team of 10 supply chain analysts and specialists • Developed and implemented supply chain optimization strategy, reducing costs by 10% Supply Chain Analyst, ABC Company, 2016-2018 • Analyzed inventory data to identify opportunities for optimization • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain processes

In this example, the candidate has clearly shown their progression from an analyst to a manager role, with increasing responsibilities and impact.

When highlighting your career progression, focus on the skills and experiences that are most relevant to the job you're applying for. Cut back on the details for older or less relevant roles.

  Education

Your education section is a critical part of your supply chain resume. It's where you showcase your academic background and relevant coursework. Here are some tips to help you write an effective education section that will catch the attention of hiring managers.

1. Put your education section in the right spot

The placement of your education section depends on your level of experience. If you're a recent graduate or have limited work experience, put your education section above your work experience. This will highlight your academic achievements and relevant coursework.

However, if you have several years of work experience, your education section should come after your work experience. In this case, keep your education section short and to the point.

Education Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, ABC University, Graduated: 2020

2. Include relevant coursework and projects

If you're a recent graduate or have limited work experience, including relevant coursework and projects can help demonstrate your knowledge and skills. List courses that are directly related to supply chain management, such as logistics, procurement, and inventory management.

You can also include any capstone projects, research projects, or case studies you completed as part of your coursework. These can showcase your ability to apply your knowledge to real-world situations.

  • Relevant Coursework: Logistics and Transportation, Procurement and Supply Management, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Analytics
  • Capstone Project: Developed a supply chain optimization plan for a local manufacturing company, resulting in a 15% reduction in inventory costs

3. Keep it short and sweet for senior roles

If you're a senior-level professional with extensive work experience, your education section should be short and to the point. Include your degree, major, and the name of your university. You can also include the year you graduated, but it's not necessary.

Here's an example of what not to include:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, XYZ University, Graduated: 1995
  • Relevant Coursework: Introduction to Business, Marketing 101, Financial Accounting

Instead, keep it simple:

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, XYZ University

Action Verbs For Supply Chain Resumes

Each bullet point should be a short, succinct summary of a single accomplishment, keeping them hard-hitting and informative. Try not to duplicate the action verbs too many times throughout the resume, though including some of them two or three times can help reinforce your experience in that role. Remember to keep in mind that relevant skills can vary based on the particular position you’re applying for. Logistics & scm personal statement example.

During my time in second level education I was always drawn towards the practical side of life, committing to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Whilst practicing this sport I have achieved a bronze medal in the Dublin International Open of 2017 and competed in the British International Open. Due to my commitment and determination in this sport, I fulfilled a leadership role coaching young children once a week.

Receiving the role of mentor during fifth form also reflects the trust and confidence teachers bestowed upon me to lead younger years to a healthy academic life, especially in a boarding school where self-care is detrimental to scholastic and mental health.

My first year of university has taught me the importance of self-motivation and determination, balancing between my studies in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (SCM), training, working, dealing with a personal health scare at the time and acting as a guardian towards my sibling, whilst both my parents are living abroad. During this time, I was able to receive 60 ECTS credits during my first year. This reflects my maturity towards all walks of life and my ability to balance life at home and at university.

My interest in Logistics started in my final year of secondary school where I had read an article on how IKEA had changed the logistical world through innovative ideas with the packaging of their “GLIMMA” candles in 1999. This had also made me realise that there is an enormous network constantly changing and evolving behind the scenes that the general public do not acknowledge. Logistics and SCM has always been more than a course or career path for myself, it is a way for me to give back and to make people feel more connected.

During my first-year studying Logistics and SCM at DIT, I had always brainstormed for new ideas and innovations to make public transport more inviting for commuters. My app for Dublin Bus and Irish Rail was the closest to coming into fruition, the app allowed the elderly and disabled to notify app users on the bus or train that there were people at the next stop in more need of a seat during peak hours. The satisfaction of being able to make a difference in people’s day to day lives is what drives my passion for Logistics and SCM. It was a relief, I was beginning to lose hope that I would never find a course I was passionate about.

I am also currently working towards a diploma in Pharmaceutical Handling issued by the International Air Transport Association that will aid me after my time at university. My father is a Medical Engineer, which combined with my interest in Logistics and SCM has led me to my goal of being able to start a company that can create secure and efficient networks to transport pharmaceuticals and medicinal equipment to third-world countries across the globe that are not able to acquire the equipment otherwise due to poor supply chains and network access.

I have always wanted to travel and live abroad, but I am also a very “homey” person due to my life with friends in Ireland, so the UK is the perfect place for me to study. The UK offers enough distance for me to let go of my responsibilities in Ireland and to focus on my studies but also close enough to visit my friends and feel close to home.

I am a committed, ambitious and dedicated individual. I am eager to work to the best of my abilities, if you choose to accept my application to your university. I will strive to reach my highest potential so that I can have a solid foundation that will direct me to a fulfilling career in a subject that I have a passion for.

I look forward to further my knowledge in Logistics and use this degree as a foundation to explore the world of business and to one day, reach my goal.

Supply chain management (SCM) and procurement are playing a vital role in modern economies. In the last decades, it has been dedicated a growing attention to the importance of strengthening links along the different steps of a supply chain (SC). Sustainability, as well, is a trending topic that has affected the propensity, for a vast range of stakeholders, to explore more inclusive frameworks and accounting systems to measure the overall impact of economic activities. The better understanding of the sustainability implications is crucial for an effective impact on current goods and services production systems. The aim of this chapter is to focus on the potential connections that exist between SCM, procurement, and sustainability. Three main sections follow: (i) a common definition of SCM and procurement, (ii) the shift toward sustainability in SCM and procurement, and (iii) an overview of three relevant case studies.

Sample SOP for Logistics and Supply Chain Management

Here is a sample statement of purpose that students can draw inspiration from while writing their SOPs.

The professional world is highly competitive today, and boundaries are blurring owing to globalization, digitization, and the need for businesses to always stay agile. The importance of supply chain management and logistics has gone up manifold in recent times, particularly since product manufacturing is steadily becoming more concentrated in specific global regions and monopolistic frameworks are being enjoyed by several suppliers. These are aspects that grabbed my attention and made me take up the commerce stream in high school instead of science. The innovations needed in this business field and the strategic execution of several ideas have stimulated my imagination more than any other pursuit.

As I completed my graduation in Commerce with (percentage) of marks, my professor in marketing management encouraged my passion and creativity, which was relevant to logistics and supply chain management. He advised me to pursue higher education in this arena. He also suggested to me the names of some of the reputed universities from where I can pursue my master’s degree.

He recommended several books which I have already read in order to derive a greater understanding of logistics and supply chain management. During my undergraduate days, the research and project work I undertook was more inclined toward this field, although it did cover selling and manufacturing to an extent. In such project work, I was successful in highlighting the importance of a good supply chain and logistics pipeline for business growth and expansion.

With my academic achievements, reference material, and research, I am hugely enthusiastic and determined to pursue my course in supply chain management and logistics while getting a global degree that will empower me to work in the global market with giant manufacturing nations such as Japan, China, and Korea. I dream of someday replicating the same model in my home country as well.

My aspirations to pursue a degree at your university were due to the excellent course curriculum that aligns with industry standards, cutting-edge technologies, and expertise of the faculty members. The modules on Logistics and Financial Management, Logistics and Human Resource Management, Business Strategy and Marketing Logistics, and Inventory/Production Planning, Procurement, and Transport appealed to me as they would help me know the very intricacies of the domain in detail. Besides that, the university’s industrial partnerships with some of the top-tier countries would help me receive the necessary practical exposure. A look at the university website got me hooked on the works of Profs (names of a few faculty members), and I am quite excited to learn from them.

I am fully prepared to commence my journey of education in this field. Admission to your esteemed university will give me the best chance to boost my skills and knowledge while simultaneously gaining global insights. I am hopeful that my academic and professional credentials are sufficient to secure me a seat in the (name of the program) with the session beginning in (month).
