Friday 26th February
Happy Friday all!!
Here are the details of today's work that has also been sent via 2email:
Friday Menu Y5 26.2.21 and 5.3.21.pdf
There is now a new Friday menu! Please make sure you have downloaded the one above and begin working from this even if you didn’t finish the other menu. Today, you will complete a range of activities to develop your independence. These are activities you should be able to complete on your own – you can choose which ones you’d like to do!
You may wish to choose a different theme from last week or continue with the previous one. Remember to choose a theme you are interested in– it might be a hobby, something you’ve been reading about or a topic you’ve enjoyed. It can be anything! For example, pirates, jungles, space, cars, the Vikings… let your imagination run wild! You might like to chat with an adult who can help you choose a theme.
Like in a game of bingo, try to complete a row of the tasks. It can be a row from top to bottom or left to right. You should try to remember all the things you’ve been taught in class to produce work you’re really proud of! We would rather you did less but did a really good job than tried to get lots done too quickly. You will grow more independence by taking your time and thinking carefully about your work, then rushing it.
Remember to record today's work in your Friday book – your teachers know you are all working very hard at home, so Friday’s are a chance to do something independent and fun! You will need to bring you Friday book in when you return to school so that you can share all of your lovely work. You do not need to email any work to school.
