Due to the rapidly increasing emissions of fossil fuels and the limited amount of power currently available, renewable power generation is an essential need of time. The main objective of this article is to analyze the alternative green power generation system which uses the weight and momentum of passing vehicles to produce electricity to save “waste” power. This design uses struts to restore the bumps to their original location, A slider-crank mechanism converts reciprocatory action into rotatory action and a gear which transmits power. Speed breakers are a versatile and cost-effective alternative that may be installed under the railroad with minimum modifications.

Moreover, these conventional energy sources are polluting and responsible for global warming. So, non-conventional sources are needed to be developed for power generation which are clean, environment friendly and sustainable. In this research we propose a renewable non-conventional energy source based on speed breaker mechanism.
Power = Work done / time = 2352Nm / 60s = 39.2W. Power generated in a day = 39.2W * 24hr * 60 min. = 56.45 KW This Power generated by vehicles is more than sufficient to power street lights all night. VI. CONCLUSION Day by day the consumption of power is increasing and the need of electricity is rising.
Ramadana et al. constructed a prototype for generating electricity using the rack and pinion mechanism and performed an experimental study to measure the amount of voltage, current, and angular speed for three different masses of 41 kg, 65 kg, and 80 kg, respectively [].From the experiment, they observed that electrical power of 6.5 W, 26.2 W, and 44.7 W was produced by masses of 41 kg, 65 kg ...

The power developed for 60 minutes (1 hour) was 441.45 watts. This could produce more power than necessary to power four street lights at night [6]. The experimental studies were carried out by Mohammad Ramadan, and the outcomes were approximately 26.2 to 44.7 W for masses of 65 kg and 80 kg, respectively.

2.7 Generator: A generator is a mechanical device that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. A device that generates alternating current (AC) by mixing stationary (stator) and moving parts is known as an alternating current generator (AC generator) (rotor). The rotor is linked to the gear.
